Rogers TV appearances & Zoink'd

We are off to be filmed at Rogers Mississauga today & it will be aired at 4 & 10pm today & 11am tomorrow.

We are also very excited to say that we are booked to appear on YTV's 'Zoink'd'. Filming is taking place on the 26th. At this time we do not know when it will be aired.

About the show: Each adult has one minute to entertain our panel of kid judges. Once 20 seconds are up, if a judge is not entertained, they can hit “zoink” and vote to eliminate a performer. If an act gets less than three “zoinks” before one minute is up, they get points from the judges. The performer with the most points at the end of the show wins, but if they get three or more “zoinks” they’re OUT!

We're going to perform the Human Blockhead. That'll turn their heads!!

We here at Mental Floss Mansion are really busy getting ready for the Inaugral Unvieling of "Floss & Tann's Wunderkammer" at Toronto Buskerfest, the largest event of it's kind the North Amercian continent!! We are VERY excited as it's going to look AWESOME!!

City TV News

We appeared on yesterday's 6pm News on City TV!! Along with Lucas Wilson (World record holder for fastest straight-jacket escape upside down!), & our good friend Ryan Brown (Winner of Magician of the year 2011!) as part of the footage of Powerhouse of Terror's 'Carnevil Manor' haunt at Toronto Ribfest.

Todays filming was fun!

We will be appearing on CTV's 'The Beat' (not sure but this show may only air in the Kitchener area) on Friday 9th June at 6.30pm. For those of you who won't be able to see it it will be posted on their website after the show & we'll give you the link when it appears.

Miskatonic University Expeditions

Professor Archibald Floss met Doctor Charlotte Tann during one of his many expeditions supposedly on behalf of Miskatonic University. These expeditions were often beset by his nemesis, the debonair Trevor Buff, who would steal Floss’ hard earned discoveries & claim them for himself. Buff eventually got his comeuppance when Floss fooled him into entering an extremely dangerous jungle reigned over by a highly secretive, & previously unheard of tribe of pygmy head-hunters. He is now an exhibit in Floss’ ‘Museum of Prodigies’, the world’s only shrunken headed sex symbol!

On another expedition Prof. Floss was taken poorly, suffering from a serious infestation of tooth worms. It was then that he met Dr. Tann, who’s talents with a hammer & chisel were highly effectual. Using Tann’s ill-gained fortune from selling her questionable remedies, these partners in crime have travelled to the five corners of the globe, beyond, & even through time!

Considering that Mental Floss Sideshow was supposedly founded in the early 1800’s it’s astounding they have lived to tell their tale at all, especially considering their youthful looks. It has often been mooted that they either found a highly original mode of time travel (as created by Mathieu Graff, an unknown 18th century French scientist), or found the sought after fountain of youth. They are not, however, at liberty to comment.
