Miskatonic University Expeditions

Professor Archibald Floss met Doctor Charlotte Tann during one of his many expeditions supposedly on behalf of Miskatonic University. These expeditions were often beset by his nemesis, the debonair Trevor Buff, who would steal Floss’ hard earned discoveries & claim them for himself. Buff eventually got his comeuppance when Floss fooled him into entering an extremely dangerous jungle reigned over by a highly secretive, & previously unheard of tribe of pygmy head-hunters. He is now an exhibit in Floss’ ‘Museum of Prodigies’, the world’s only shrunken headed sex symbol!

On another expedition Prof. Floss was taken poorly, suffering from a serious infestation of tooth worms. It was then that he met Dr. Tann, who’s talents with a hammer & chisel were highly effectual. Using Tann’s ill-gained fortune from selling her questionable remedies, these partners in crime have travelled to the five corners of the globe, beyond, & even through time!

Considering that Mental Floss Sideshow was supposedly founded in the early 1800’s it’s astounding they have lived to tell their tale at all, especially considering their youthful looks. It has often been mooted that they either found a highly original mode of time travel (as created by Mathieu Graff, an unknown 18th century French scientist), or found the sought after fountain of youth. They are not, however, at liberty to comment.
